Our Facilities

Indoor play

The rooms at The Old School are bright, open, spacious, welcoming, and are full of exciting and fun, age-appropriate equipment, designed to offer everything your child needs to feel safe, secure, and at home within their surroundings.  Our rooms are suitable for all age groups. With a variety of equipment to ensure that the children are entertained, engaged, and have fun in a safe environment that caters to their every need.

Outdoor play

Here at The Old School Adventure Club, we have a large, secure, garden for all ages to enjoy, including a playground for sports and outside games to burn off steam and exercise in safety.

Forest School

We have access to local off-site Forest School facilities where our qualified Forest School practitioners deliver an exciting program of fun.

Walks & Trips out

We love to take peaceful walks down the canal, waving at canal boats as they pass by and seeing the local wildlife.  In our Holiday Clubs we go further afield to parks, reservoirs, museums, and more.

Meals

We provide healthy, nutritious, and delicious food at breakfast and at tea, and of course lunch in the holidays! All our food is prepared fresh and on-site each day by our team. Children are encouraged to try all kinds of food and we use meal times as another fun opportunity for the children to develop their social skills and build friendships. All the children enjoy helping to serve the food and we all help to tidy up! Children are encouraged to help us plan our meals, choosing the foods they like with our guidance on nutrition and ensuring at least a 5-a-day fruit and vegetable target is met.

Security

Entrance to The Old School Adventure Club is protected by a secure keypad system and children may only be collected by persons named at registration unless pre-organised by parents and carers on which security details are given. For Covid safety reasons parents are not currently allowed inside the building.

Parking

We have our own private car park for parents and carers to drop off and collect their children safely, please be mindful and respectful of other parents when entering and exiting the car park and the local residents nearby.
