Before & After School Club
We run a fun and friendly Before & After School Club sessions for school-age through to and including 11 years old, from 7.30am to school drop off, and school pick up until 6.00pm, to the following schools:
- Willington Primary School
- Sale and Davys Church of England Primary School
- Findern Primary School
- Egginton Primary School
The staff make sure that the children have all the support and resources available to ensure they are engaged and entertained in whatever it is that they enjoy doing from sports to crafts to imaginary play. Supporting them with their homework and reading if required and of course ensuring that they get downtime if needed after a busy day at school.
An exciting location, independent from the children’s schools, makes our club more interesting, and gives the opportunity to make great new friends.
We provide a delicious, nutritious breakfast and tasty light tea which is prepared on-site in our kitchen and is designed by our passionate Nursery Catering Manager, along with the children’s input, to offer our children a variety of meals that will educate them in new flavours and different cultures and of course it always includes some old favourites! We encourage the children to help with the preparation and serving of the food to promote independence and making good food choices. We let the children guide our meal plans with foods they like or would like to try.
In the morning, before school, after a hearty breakfast, we enjoy activities to make sure we’re wide-awake and ready for the school day ahead. We are driven to school in our own, all electric, modern mini-buses, with highly qualified staff, who wait with us until we’re safely inside school.
After school children are safely collected from the playground where our staff will liaise with the teachers to pass-on any messages and safely transported back to The Adventure Club where a yummy home-cooked tea awaits them. Children can take part in free play, get help with any homework or take part in our exciting activities – the choice is entirely up to them.
